Janine worked during 25 years in the teaching. In a parallel direction, she developed for her comfort and her personal pleasure, a long experience in her predilection domains :
-Organic food,
-Techniques related to the body care,
-Practice of different methods of relaxation,
-Practice of arts and cottage industry
Immediately after, she decided to acquire a training in massage techniques

Bernard's job has become rare nowadays : he worked as a building's monumental clock repairer. In his leisure hours, he also learned everything you need to know about the making of foie gras.

Both of them dreamed for a long time to own a guest house. The pleasure of meeting people and of sharing gave them the envy to create a place outside the time, cordial on the one hand and original on the other hand, where everyone could be happy to have a short or a long rest.

The dream became a first time concrete in 2002 with the discovery of a place next to the “lac d'Aiguebelette” (“Aiguebelette lake”) in Savoie and that they restored. That's how the “Clairière du Moulin” was born. Janine brought her bright and coloured touch of painter in watercolours on the doors, walls and on every stairs. Bernard swore to himself he would employ himself to animate the site by greeting artists, musicians and story tellers. They opened a guest house with 5 rooms and a table d'hôtes, they worked for 5 years at developing this house. It's there that they implemented for their gasts a light and succulent cooking. The success of their realization transcended all their expectations and then also their physical endurance. Such a job required an incredible energy. That's how they decided to hand down this house to other people that would continue in the same way the activity that they had created. It happened at the end of the summer 2006. At the at moment, Janine and Bernard began their quest of a new place, smaller, that would thrill them as much as the precedent one. That's how they found out this old sheepfold , at that time called “La Ponche”, in the Drôme. They felt total love at first sight. After some renovations, they called the little and protected domain fed by 5 sources : “L'Hermitage aux sources” (“The Hermitage to the sources”). For a certain time, Janine interested herself to welfare and relaxation techniques. After varied formations, she makes you profit of her experience.
